Based on the mine exposed, drilling, geophysical and all other daters of the mining areaproduction, and with the guide of coal geology, structural geology, mine geology andmathematics geology theory, the thesis studied the geological structure, coal measure depositscharacteristics, etc. The main conclusions which the paper obtained are as follows:(1) The thin and thickness of coal layer in No.3 coal seam with ovoid presentscharacteristics of sub ribbon-like shape the coal seam thickness which two-way interminglesthe north west trending (NW45°) and the north east trending (NE30°) . On the relativethickened coal seam, the thickness is always above 0.7m, and in the sub thinned zone, thethickness is below 0.7m.(2) The characteristics of No.4 coal seam is discontinuous distribution, but still havesignificantly with sexual orientation and points along the west divided from coal to edgethinned zone, thickening, thinned zone and thickening belt with four relative thickness. Thethickness of the coal seam in zoning tend to show north west, Mining coal seam, the Lordmay show northeast thicker and general characteristics of southwest thinner. In the north east(NE45°) and near eastwestward (NWW) and the thickness, mesh belt thickness variationcharacteristics of subprime,(3)The No.10 coal seam spread beading along the northeast trending andNWW-trending. The thicknesses of No.11 coal seam which distribution sill-like in the shallowcentral area of east mining area along the northeast trending and NWW-trending is instability.(4)The influence factors analyzed of coal seam thickness basically are as follows: theinfluence factors of No.3 coal seam thickness are sedimentary environment and thickness ofShanxi clastic rocks; the influence factors of No.4 coal seam thickness are sedimentary base and the K4 thickness of sandstone; the influence factors of No.5 coal seam thickness aresedimentary environment, sedimentary folding, river washing and later structure change; thethickness of No.10,11 coal seam is controlled by the undulate sedimentary.
