Quercus liaotungensis Koidz were distributed widely in deciduous broad-leaved forest of the warm temperate zone in south of shanxi. It was played the vital role on improving soil, controlling the water source, conservating of water and soil, maintaining the area ecological equilibrium, improving environment quality and protectiing biodiversity. In order to strengthen to this local vegetation's protection,Quercus liaotungensis Koidz. communities in the Luliang Mountains and the Taiyue Mountains were selected as the object of study. The interspecific assoeiation, niehe breadth, nihce overlap and species dviersity in these communities were studied by using quantitative methods. Moreover, the eommunity types, sturcture and ecological relationships were also researched in the article.139 plant species and 50 families was founded in communities, included species of Rosaceae plants up to 21 species, accounting for 15.1% of the total number of species, followed by 15 Compositae species, accounting for 10.8% of plant species, Caprifoliaceae, Betulaceae Liliaceae species 8,6,6, respectively, representing the total number of species were 5.76%,4.32%,4.32%, the number of species remaining subjects were ranging from 1 to 5. By use of Patriek indice,Margale indice,Shannon-Wiener indice,Simpson indice,Hill indice and Pieluo indice, species diversity, the species riehnes and species eveness were measuerd. The analysis results proved that diversity indices were very strongly aeffeted by riehness in the nine communities in the south of shanxi.Ninty-six quadrats were classified into nine community types by TWINSPAN method with the PCORD 5.0 software. The species diversity had signifieant difference in the nine communities. Through the correlation analysis, discovered that species number in communities obviously influenced the species diversity index. Through the correlation analysis, discovered that elevation obviously influenced the species diversity index, but other environmental factors were influenced the species diversity index, is only not remarkable.χ2-test,the Pearson correlation analysis and the Spearman rank correlation were used to analyze the interspecific relationship of in the south of Shanxi. The interspecific relationship of 44 dominant species were determined in communities. The results indicated that two species in the communities has the similar reflection to the environment difference, appears in the together probability is big, moreover many for positive assoeiation and correlation. But the ecology habit different species, appear in the together probability is small, moreover many for negative assoeiation and correlation. In general, The numbers of species-pairs in communities with positive association and correlation were less than that with negative assoeiation and correlation, because the communities of Quercus liaotungensis Koidz were at a stabler development phase in the south of Shanxi.By using the coefficients of Levins(1968) and Shannon-Wiener, the niehe breadth of dominant species in three layers in the south of Shanxi were measured. The analysis results indicated that the species with bigger niehe had stronger adaptability to the living environment, and had bigger function to the community. By using environmental factors on the ecological niche gradient, the analysis results indicated that Quercus liaotungensis Koidz was a larger niche width specie in the area of the high altitude, little soil nitrogen, little water.By using the overlap coefficient of Levins(1968),the analysis results indicated that the niehe overlapped and the niehe breadth had reflected characteristics of species and to the environment compatibilities, they had the certain relation. Simultaneously demonstrated that the interspecific relationship and the niehe overlapped had the big relevance.
