Research On The Method Of Calculat Gas Content In Underground Coal Seam Rapidly

Coal seam gas content include loss of gas from fetch sample, underground gas desorption and residual gas, when calculate gas content using the existing underground desorption of drill-cuttings , it takes a longer time to calculat the residual gas content in laboratory, so the result can't make an timely prediction to the dangerous level of the gas.The instrument (WP-1) is the only equipment of rapid calculating gas content. But,it has a big errors when calculat the gas content in the consumingly destruct coals.Against the problem of rapid calculating gas content. Based on simulation test device and various destruct coals simulation calculating data, analyzed the affect of gas content and destruct type to the desorption regular, studied the relationship between the gas content and desorption eigenvalue, and used EXCEL and MATLAB software , get the new rapid method of calculating gas content in underground coal seamAimed at the new method, the best time of taking sample was confirmed 2.5 minutes for calculating the gas content in the coal, at this time the errors less than 10%, the new method could calculat the gas content in the coal accurately;and the whole process can be completed within 15 minutes, achieve the goal of calculating the gas content in the underground coal seam rapidly.
