Magnesium Fluoride(MgF2) as a traditional thin-film material, has a very important position and effect in the filed of the optic films。Magnesium Fluoride film is the strongest film of all materials have low refraction index, with good optical performance and mechanical properties。In this paper, we researched the optical performance and mechanical properties of the material of MgF2 adulterated YF3(CaF2)。By deposited a single-layer AR coating on K9 glass, and tested its transmission, laser interference fringes, adhesion and wear-resistant quality, we can obtained the material of MgF2 adulterated 5%-10% YF3 can improve the tensile stress of magnesium fluoride film effectively。While maintaining well the mechanical properties of thin-film。Also the material of MgF2 adulterated 5% CaF2 has been good results。The results show the material of YF3(CaF2) can be adulterated in the MgF2 and becoming a new thin-film material。For the film stress test, is by measuring the change of laser interference fringes of the substrates before and after deposited to achieve。This is a more simple way for measuring the change of film stress。Today's research for new thin-film materials are more conventional but less modification of thin-film materials。In this paper, we has made a good attempt for the modification of traditional thin-film materials by adulterating YF3(CaF2) into MgF2, and for the study of new coating materials is also a useful attempt。...
