Based on the existing theory and previous research on coal blasting technology, contrapose coal blasting effect and mechanism of crack growth, combine with the characteristics of coal, this paper adopt finite element analysis software ANSYS / LS-DYNA simulate coal blasting effect and similar material blasting experiment of coal. From the angle of fracture mechanics, Established coal blasting model under Coupling and Undercoupling charge, exert the gas pressure on Coupling charged model, establish coal blasting damage model under gas pressure, using dynamic finite element software ANSYS/LS-DYNA do Numerical Simulation under these three conditions. The simulation results show that compare with the coupled charge air radial under-coupling propellant will buffer the effect of the explosion and extend the action time of stress wave, could effectively improve the utilization of explosives, the coal blasting numerical simulation results under gas pressure show that the presence of gas pressure has a positive effect on coal blasting process, could also increase the peak stress wave and extend the action time of stress wave, in addition different gas pressure own different impact on coal blasting process, when gas pressure is 0.7MPa the peak stress wave of the near region of the hole increase 16.3% compared with no gas pressure, the peak stress wave of the far region of the hole increase 7.7%, This shows that the coal blasting is not only the results of blasting stress wave and gas explosion, but also the results of blasting stress wave and gas pressure. The results of coal similar material blasting experiment and numerical simulation show that the peak stress wave, action time of stress wave and attenuation index of stress wave is consistent, explain that use ANSYS / LS-DYNA do Numerical Simulation on coal blasting process is feasible. Numerical Simulation can provide useful reference and theoretical guidance for actual project.
