Supramolecular is a kind of highly complex system formed by two or more compounds through intermolecular non-covalent bond. In a supramolecular system, each component maintains some of its inherent physical and chemical properties, while it also shows several overall functions by the interaction with other components. Artificial supramolecular systems such as rotaxane, pseudorotaxane and catenane have great potential value in the field of information storage, drug delivery, molecular recognition and energy conversion.A kind of [3]rotaxane based on cyanine dye was designed in charpterâ…¡. In the system, the macrocycle(CB[7]) would move to corresponding recognition site under different pH value, which will effect fluorescence of the rotaxane. But in the end, we don't achieve the desired performance. The pseudorotaxane formed by corresponding intermediate and CB [7] was studied carefully. In charpterâ…¢, a rotaxane containing isophthalic acid and naphthalimide was reported. It is expected that the macrocycle(CB[7]) would locate at the hexane chain or triazole under different pH value, which is accompanied by change of fluorescence. Unfortunately, the weak interaction between CB[7] and hexane chain, and the presence of sodium ion make the gust compound not to interlock with CB[7].In addition, a derivative of 5,10-dis(4'-(3-azido-propyl)pyridine)-15,20-bis (phenyl) porphyrin was synthesized(P4). We hope to get a [3]rotaxane with porphyrin through "click reaction" between propargyl and azido catalyzed by CB[7]. But It was failed to achieve the original vision due to the poor solubility of P3. The improvement of the synthesis protocol is now on the way.
