In this dissertation, based on the current research of the membrane bioreactor, combinated the membrane bioreactor with ultrasonic cleaning technology, utilize the drift suspension hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane as the components, immersion installed in the reactor, reciprocating irradiation and line cleaning by the ultrasonic vibration plate devices. To clean the membrane with the high-frequency vibration, ultrasonic cavitation, acoustic streaming effect of the ultrasonic wave, which reaches the aim of preventing membrane blockage, restoring membrane flux and filtration, extending membrane life and increasing the MBR economy. To study the factors of UMBR technology, the experiment was operated with the effluent of printing and dyeing waste water treatment plant in Guangdong Province, which was after primary physico-chemical treatment. The results show that, the factors of the UMBR including quality of the influent,air-water ratio and HRT,MLSS and so on, while the factors of cleaning of the membrane including the running time of the ultrasonic device, sound frequency, sound intensity, etc. To clean the membrane continuous for 15minutes under the optimization which the frequency was 40 kHz, and the sound intensity was 100W, the flux of fouling membrane resume to 80%, and the removal rate of COD was over 90%, but the chroma removal was about 85% which wouldn't ensure reach the standard of water color.Applied the theory in the laboratory to the actual project, treating and recovering the mechanical processing wastewater of 80m3/d with flotation-UMBR. The project started from October 2009, and the effluent concentration of CODCr and turbidity were under 40mg/L,4NTU respectively, which means every index can surpass the standard of Urban Wastewater Reuse-Water Quality for City Sundry Use (GB/T18920-2002).
