In this thesis, the main composite CaSO4of desulfurized gypsum was used as modifier in coal ash fusion temperature, which provided new use of desulfurized gypsum to achieving the purpose of waste recycling. The effect of different content of CaSO4 on 2 kinds of typical coal ash fusion temperature under the reducing and oxidation atmosphere was studied. Thermodynamic of reactions of CaSO4 decomposition under different atmopheres were calculated by FactSage. The comparisions of different effects of CaSO4,CaCO3 and CaO on coal ash fusion temperature were made. Finally, the effect of adding CaSO4 on the coal gasification reactivities were studied.The results showed that:CaSO4 has a remarkable influence on coal ash fusion temperature; CaSO4 could decrease coal ash melting temperature of typical coal with high fusion temperature while increase coal ash fusion temperature of typical coal with low melting temperature; Under different atmospheres, the effects of different CaSO4 addition on t coal ash melting temperature were different;Thermodynamic calculation results showed that reducing atmosphere was helpful for CaSO4 decomposition. The addition of CaSO4 have no significant influence on the coal gasfication reactivity.
