The structure of lanthanide supramolecular complexes has gained great recognition not only for their intriguing framework and topologies but also for their applications in areas of luminescence, catalysis, magnetism, etc. Especially, Luminescent lanthanide supramolecular complexes with aromatic carboxylic acid have attracted much attention lately due to their good performance in sensor technologies and electroluminescent devices. The paper designed and synthesized three Dy complexes with different coordination modes of pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid(H2PDA), 1,3-Benzenedicarboxyl ic acid(1,3-H2BDC) and 1,10-Phenanthroline monohydrate(Phen). the characterizatio n of structures have been analyzed by elemental analysis, IR spectra, X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The luminescence properties of three Samarium complexes have been characterized by fluorescence spectrum.The crystal [Dy(PDA)(NO3)(Phen)(H2O)2] (Dy1) was prepared using Dy(NO3) 3·5H2O, H2PDA, benzidine and Phen as stuff at 60℃for three days, a mol ratio of 1:1:1:1 in organic solution. Dy1 is 0D complex. Molecular structural unit connect each other to build 2D framework by hydrogen bond, and 2D framework build 3D framework byππ. The emission spectra of Dy1 excited with 330 nm wavelength exhibit characteristic absorption of Dy3+ at 484nm(4F9/2→6H15/2),573nm(4F9/2→6H13/2), respectively.The crystal {[Dy2(1,3-BDC)3(H2O)2]?H2O}n (Dy2) was prepared using Dy(NO3) 3·5H2O, 1,3-H2BDC and 2-propyl-4,5-imidazole-2-carboxylic acid as stuff at 165℃for 4 days, a mol ratio of 1:3:3 in organic solution. Dy2 is 2D coordination polymer. 3D framework builds by 2D flood though hydrogen bond. The emission spectra of Dy2 excited with 300 nm wavelength exhibit characteristic absorption of Dy3+ at 482nm(4F9/2→6H15/2),577nm(4F9/2→6H13/2), respectively.The crystal {[Dy3(1,3-BDC)4(NO3)(Phen)3]·2H2O}n(Dy3) was prepared using Dy(NO3)3·5H2O, 1,3-H2BDC, benzidine and Phen as stuff at 85℃for two days, a mol ratio of 1:1:1:1 in organic solution. Dy3 is 3D coordination polymer. There is 1D channel in the 3D network of Dy3. The emission spectra of Dy3 excited with 330 nm wavelength exhibit characteristic absorption of Dy3+ at 480nm(4F9/2→6H15/2),574nm (4F9/2→6H13/2),611nm(4F9/2→6H11/2), respectively.The fluorescence lifetime of Dy1Dy3 is in the range of the characteristic lifetime of Dy3+...
