Titanium alloy is widely used in aviation and national defense industry with it's perfect performance on heat-resistance and corrosion-resistance and high intensity. Titanium alloy is difficult to machine in normal way, however ECDM milling is free from material intensity limit and good at machining this kind of material efficiently. Since now, there are not so much research on the theory of ECDM, lucubrate research is needed if we want to apply it in wide range. This article focused on the technological parameter research of the titanium alloy machining by ECDM milling, analyzed the influence regularity of principal machining parameter on technics target, realized electrode wearing automatic compensation, improved machining efficiency of titanium alloy. This article finished the following work.First, definited the main factors that influence machining efficiency and electrode wearing, based on the machining experiment, analyzed the regularity of technics parameters influencing machining efficiency. Found that the most remarkable influence factor on machining efficiency is the peak electric current.Second, studyed the electrode wearing regularity in ECDM milling and definited the compensate strategy, established the model between impact parameters and machining indicator. Designed a software that can achieve the compensation of electrode wearing.Third, established technological parameter model for ECDM milling of titanium alloy by using dynamic fuzzy neural network, it can calculate the technological parameters according the machining efficiency that we set. Engineered a ECDM milling's technological software which simplified ECDM milling machining and realized the update of the model.Through the study and improvement of technics of ECDM milling for titanium alloy, it's efficience can reach 5000 mm~3/min. Achieved electrode wearing compensation in the machining process, and reached the machining precision.
