After entering the 21st century, China's economy continued to develop rapidly, but also faced great pressure of energy and environment, and the most effective means improving efficiency of energy utilization efficiency is of improving the operation parameters of industrial equipment. In this situation, the new high temperature resistant alloy P92 steel has been widely used in high temperature operation of the power of ultra supercritical built. But because of the high temperature component in the production process, including casting, bending, welding process and in the operation process, the load and the temperature gradient in the component which all causes inevitably produce residual stress, thus reduce bearing capacity and the fracture toughness of heat component. So research the creep crack growth of P92 steel with residual stress, will expand to safeguard the safety operation of the power station and life assess.The residually stressed by precompression notched and fatigue-cracked specimen (CT1) and the specimen without residual stress (CT3) were creep tested by soaking at a constant temperature of 650℃, used to study the effect of residual stress in the test of high-temperature creep crack propagation.In ABAQUS through elastic-plastic-creep finite element analysis model, simulated the process of generating residual stress by precompression and then creep stress relaxation process.Experimental results show that in the 450h of early crack growth, when not considering the residual stress, creep crack almost no extension, When considering the residual stress, will occurre early crack growth,and with the increase of the creep time the crack growth rate will decrease, it is mainly due to the process of creep will decrease residual stress.According to the C* based on reference stress calculation method, described the action of crack growth creep with the residual stress ,found the results matching the test data.
