In this paper, cheap and readily available m-xylene as raw material, iodine and bromine, triggered by the reaction of 4,6-dibromo-m-xylene, in dry carbon tetrachloride in 4,6 - dibromo-m-xylene and N-bromosuccinimide reaction, under UV irradiation are 4,6 - dibromo-1,3 - bis (bromomethyl) benzene. 4,6 - dibromo-1,3 - bis (bromomethyl) benzene and 95% sulfuric acid hydrolysis reaction of 4,6-dibromoisophthalaldehyde, methanol in anhydrous 4,6-dibromoisophthalaldehyde, respectively 4-methoxybenzenamine, p-toluidine, aniline, 4-chlorobenzenamine, and phenylmethanamine, synthesized the corresponding 4,6-dibromo-1,3- bis (N-methoxy ammonia methylene)benzene, 4,6- dibromo-1,3- bis (N-methyl ammonium methylene) benzene, 4,6 - dibromo-1,3 - bis (N-ammonia methylene ) benzene, 4,6 - dibromo-1,3 -bis (N-ammonia methylene chloride) benzene, 4,6- dibromo-1,3-bis (N-benzyl ammonium methylene) benzene .
