Since American N.N.Lj advanced the method of liquid membrane technology,many countries have been taking out a lot of research works. The separation technology of emulsifying liquid membrane is new, high efficence, speedy and saving energy. It has been used in many field such as chemical engineering,medicine,genetic engineering hydrometallurgs and environmental protection. The experiment step of emulsifying liquid membrane divide into making emulsion, extraction and emulsion breaking. In essence, it is the step of extraction and antiextraction. In experiment, its apparatus must have high power supply. YU hunfang and Xu shushen from Dongben Normal University advanced the separation and enrichment method of pseudo liquid membrane. It also adopted two kind of surfactant in organic solvent, which extracts metal ion. This method do not need the apparatus of high power supply. The recovery rate is good. Chromium (VI) is carciogenic substance. Since a long time, many research workers had done a lot of work about the method of separation and enrichment. But no body used the technology of pseudo liquid membrane in determining chromium( VI). For simplifying experiment processes, the writer also do not use high power supply apparatus. As the experiment goes on, I find that the method of pseudo liquid membrane is three-component positive synergisitic extractant. With a strict attitude, I think the system of TOA-P507 etrleum ether is the system of three-component positive synergistic extractant. The composition, the optimum conditions and the extract mechanism of Cr(VI) from acid medium with positive synergistic extractant TOA-P507-Petroleum ether has been reported .The compositon is (R3N)2(Cr20j(P507).The relative standard deviation is 1.78%.
