Recently the much interest in benzimidazole has been taken to the research of mimic biological enzyme. Three novel benzimidazole compounds (OCBZ. BCBZ. and THBZ) Were Synthesized and Charactized by element analysis. UV. lR and HNMR.The reactions of OCBZ. BCBZ and THBZ With metal salt resulted in the formation of complex (I)-(5) as follows:(1) [Zn(0CBZ)~Clj H:0(2) [Ag(OCBZ)JN0. (3) [Zn(BCBZ)zClj (4) [Cd(BCBZ)C12] o 2H~0(5) [Ni (THBZ)Cl~Cl 3. 5H~O. All the complexes' composition were identified by element analysis, conductance and TG. Their characters of UV and IR were also measured. Besides, The single crystal structure of complex(l) was determined by X-ray diffraction method. The crystal was monoclinic sYstem, space group P2 ~,, with a11.612(3)A, b19.339(4) A, cl3.369(3) A, a90, P107.88(2), 1=90 .
