According to the SSAR and Miedema theory, two kinds of parameters are used to study the regularity of amorphous formation of ternary alloy by mechanical alloying in this thesis. The first is the enthalpy of alloy A50B50 and difference of self-diffusion activation energy of the constituents of alloy. The second is the Miedema theory parameters i~q5~ , ~ and ~R / R. Mechanical Alloy is a ball milling process where a powders mixture placed in the ball mill is subject to high energy collision from the balls. The ternary alloys include aluminum, transition metal and rare earth elements. Based on experimental data the criteria of formation of ternary amorphous alloy can be written as The total accuracies for separating the amorphous alloy formed or not by mechanical alloying are 96.30% and 83.33%, respectively.
