SAMs method, a newly technology for forming highly organized plexiform layers naturally on solid surface based on self-assembled effect since 1980. It has wide applicable prospects in imitation of organism, biosensor, lubrication, irliner optics, etc because it posseses a lot of advantages, such as its simple manufacture way, stable behavior and organized structure of monolayers,. So it provides a means of building ideal interface on molecule levels, which can instructs molecule design of fine functional materials.Among numerous classes of SAMs, thiols on Au has become the most representative system on account of its characteristics of easy controlled , powerful order as well as few amounts of adsorption miscellaneous and is emphasized in areas of base and application. Availaible surface analysis techniques employed to sign SAMs are stated. For example, method of moist contact feeler , ellipsometry, SPR, TPD,STMS, STM and so on which are used to research structures and characters of SAMs of stable condition. But , in order to obtain highly quality SAMs, it is necessary to comprehend dynamic procedure of self-assembled system of physics and chemistry and to study ralated self-assembled informations.Quartz Crystal Microbalance(QCM) is a mass detector based on quartz crystal oscillation, employed to monitor samples real timed, on lined by frequency change associated to mass change of analysis matter. Compared to other analysis techniques of SAMs, QCM is followed with interests because of its unique virtues such as high sensitivity, rapid response, simple operation and easy automatization , prior to its in situ monitoring. In this article, Rudiment, structure and manufacture of units, stability of QCM in air and liquid were investigated. Kinetics and thermadynamics parameters(velocity constant, equilibrium constant ,etc.) are calculated by QCM in situ detection dependence on frequency changes of alkylthiol on Au. The self-assembled principle and effect agent are disscussed, which offer instructions to the control SAMs formation. The self- assembled process of forming HS-(CH2)6-ssDNA on Au is in situ signed by QCM, too. kinetics property of self-assembled DNA is analyzied. The result show simple physics pattern can be expressed by adsorption of HS-(CH2)6-ssDNA and deadsorption of MCH, through comparion between ralation of coverge rate of DNA vs time and adsorption, deadsorption of interface. Best analysis model are found. Finally, the devolopment and applied prospect of integrated techniques between QCM and SAMs are discussed.
