This study is carried out through the viewpoint of screening strains from the decomposed straw. With a series of distinctive way, four strains that can degrade straw in a lager degree are separated and screened out. Each strain straw solid fermentation recipe is achieved by orthogonal test and single factor experiment. Meanwhile, the mix-strain fermentation conditions are also studied in detail. At last, a mix-strain fermentation way is optimized and in which straw can be degraded to enough degree to produce fertilizer in a short period of time.Four strains are obtained which can result in good fermentation of straw and named as BTO-i, BTO-2, BTO-3 and FL-i. From a series of tests, BTO-l, BTO-2, BTO-3 are classified as bacterial and FL-i as actinomycetes. Furthermore, the growing conditions for each strain including pH, temperature and relative content of oxygen are optimized as follows. The suitable pH values for BTO- 1, BTO-2, BTO-3 and FL-i should be 7.5, 7.5, 6.5 and 7.5. At the same time, the four strains all grow well at 350C ?00C with enough oxygen. The optimized recipe of the raw solid material for the fermentation of the strain is obtained as follows. BTO-i: 96.45% straw, 3% wheat bran, 0.25% urea, 0.2% K2HPO4 and 0.1% MgSO47H2O; BTQ-2:94.2% straw, 5% wheat bran, 0.5% urea, 0.2% K2HPO4 and 0.1% MgSO47H2O; BTO-3 and FL-i: 96.2% straw, 3% wheat bran, 0.5% urea, 0.2% K2HPO4 and 0.1% MgSO47H2O.CThe best solid fermentation condition of each strain is different from each other. BTO-1: 370C, 10% inoculate, enough draft; BTO-2, 3, FL-I: 400C, 10% inoculate, suitable draft. Under the respective best process condition of the four strains, the separation ratio of the crude fiber account3l.92%, 29.83%, 25.75% and 20.97%.A series of experiments are carried out to obtain the optimized mix-strain solid fermentation system. The mix-strain inoculation proportion is tested to be BTO-1: BTO-2: FL-1=2:2:1. Furthermore, the addition of urea in the mix-strain fermentation is estimated to be0.2%. And the temperature should be 400C to obtain best fermentation effect. This system needs only 10 days fermentation period and the product crude fiber content decreases from 23.3 8% (before fermentation) to 14.26% (after fermentation). The outward appearance of the product assumes black, viscous with mechanical strength decreasing largely. The four strains screened out in this study demand little about the growing conditions and have strong growing ability. They can degrade the cellulose in straw in a short time. Thereby, combine with the process of production of organic fertilizer. Therefore, the straw solid fermentation technology that has been explored in this paper is easy to be carried into effect, and it is very economic. Valuable fertilizer is got when the waste is dealt with. This study has added new content to the exploitation of straw resource.
