Using the electrolyzed y桵nO2as carrier and Al2O3as coating , metal Pd was impregnated to them. The active influence on catalyzing and oxidation of CO by the catalyst of Pd/A1203桵n02 which comprises different proportions of Pd and rare梕arth element Ce was studied. So did the Au/A12O3桵n02 catalyst. Moreover, the means of SEM & XRD were used to characterize the catalysts. The reason of influence on the catalytic activation and possible action mechanism were also discussed. The conclusion of the experiment is that under the same quantity impregnation of Pd (0. 5%), the catalysts Pd! A1201桵n02 and Pb/A1203 both have better catalytic activation on COwhile the former is much more effective, for the example of T9~ , the transfer temperature felled about 100C . If carrier Al203 was replaced by A12O3?MnO2, then there has a better effect and economical mileage, and also an extended application perspective on the cryogenic purification of CO2laser. The analytical conclusion shows that reducing the crystal grating oxygen losing of Mn02 in the course of catalyst producing can further improve its catalytic activation.
