This article chooses Xiao-ping-yang Feng Lin plain in karst zone as the experimental area during the course of Sino-Japanese cooperation project ??Xiao-ping-yang Comprehensive Management in Guangxi province. It reveals variation principles of soil CO2 in the karst Feng Lin plain area by means of the on-the-spot orientation and quantitative observation and indoor analysis. Meanwhile, it probes the ways to improve the soil. Main ideas which have been acquired are as following:I The soil CO2 in Feng Lin plain area changes with the temperature, soil-moisture, soil-microbial, soil-depth, soil-quality and ground water table changes, in which temperature and soil-moisture are vital factors.II Human behaviors can consumedly enhance the sensibility of soil CO2 changes.III The experiment suggests that the methods to balance fertilization and the methods of human's accomodating with the organic compound are the most effective ways to improve soil in karst Feng Lin plain area.
