Wrinkling and rupture are the main obstacles in sheet metal stamping, prediction and prevention of the flange wrinkling(outside wrinkling) and side-wall wrinkling(inside wrinkling) are not only the reliance in design of tooling and process parameters in sheet metal stamping, but also are the theoretical basis of the intellectual control in sheet metal stamping. Therefore, the research of wrinkling is both of great" significance for the development of stamping theory and the practice of curved parts production.The Hill's nonquadratic yield criterion for normal anisotropic materials is simplified, and then the lubricant condition influence on the wrinkling is analyzed. From the energy method, the analytical rule for the wrinkling is derived when material property parameters, dimensions of the roughcast, the friction conditions and the contact conditions are considered.On the specific case of the flange wrinkling in deep drawing, using the simplified.HiU's yield criterion, the distribution of the main stresses are gained. And then the analytical blank holder force(BHF) for flange wrinkling is gained on the base of the wrinkling criterion in conical part deep drawing.On the specific case of the wall wrinkling in deep drawing, using the simplified Hill's yield criterion, the analytical blank holder force(BHF) is gained on the base of the wrinkling criterion in conical part deep drawing.On the base of the criterion for the wrinkling under the real condition, the experiment research for wall wrinkling of conical deep drawing is carried and the results which provides the data indicates the theory analysis is reliable and effective are gained. The experiment research proves the theory analysis for the wrinkling in deep drawing can also be used to design the tooling, process parameters and the basis of intellectual control in sheet metal forming.
