Heterocyclic complexes are an useful and general reagents in analytical chemistry. They can chelate with metal ions and then its can be determination by some analytical methods. In this chelating procedure, the metal ions can be selectively and steadily accumulation on the electrode and reaction on it. For some metals that difficult in reacting on the electrode, the chelating complexes can decrease the super potential or change the charge of the ions. Which can greatly enhance the detect limit and selective. Especially in recent years, chemists found some organic molecular can dissection or intercalation with nucleic acids. Some of them also can determination protein. S o such heterocyclic reagents attracting many chemists study on them. The main content of this thesis as follovv:1 Study on the electrochemical behavior of Cu( II )-TZAMB ( 2-[2,3,5-triazolylazo]-5-dimethyl-aninobenzonic ) complex. In pHS.O potassium hydrogenphthalate buffer solution, Cu(II) and TZAMB can develop Cu(II)-TZAMB complex. This complex has adsorptive characteristic on hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) and can reduction on it to appear an irreversible reduction peak. The calibration graph for copper(II) was linear over the concentration rangel X 10~8mol ?L'1 to 5 X 10'7mol ?L'1; the detection limit of the method wasl X10"9mol ?L'1. It can use this method to determine copper(II) in rié‘• and vegetables.2 Using electrochemical methods to study the interaction betvveen Cu( II )-TZAMB complex and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) . In pH2.5 potassium hydrogenphthalate buffer solution, a supermolecular can be developed betvveen Cu( II )-TZAMB complex and DNA, which can decrease the cathodic peak of this complex. This supermolecular complex was testified to be intercalating bound to the DNA by cyclic voltametric method, salt effect and the UV-VIS spectra. According to the cathodic peak decreasing, it can use to determine DNA .3 Study on the electrochemical behavior of [Ru(bipy)2dppz]2+. In hydrochloricacid solution, it appears a couple of redox peaks. The potentials of the peaks appear at -0.11V and -O.OSV(vs.SCE), respectively. It also appears adsorptive characteristic on the glassy carbon electrode(GCE) and carbon paste electrode(CPE).For GCE, the maximum adsorptive quantities is 2.37 X 10' "mol/cm2 and the adsorptive coefficient is 4.89 X 105L/mol, the adsorption isotherm of it obeys Langmuir isotherm. In this solution, it also could electrocatalysis the reduction process of nitrite.
