Gentamycin is one of the most widely used antibioticsat at home and abroad. In high density suspending cultivation of the Micromonospora purpurea ,the unusual thickness of fermenting liquor brings a series of problems such as : 1 especial complexity of rheological behaviour ,2 difficulty to get the cell growth curve and to regulating process ,3 great expenses in oxygen supply operation. According to above, the rheological behaviour was developed experimentally and theoretically in this paper by flask fermentation, and based on it the cell growth was characterized .Lastly carrier of oxygen was used in this system to reduce the energy expenses.1 The rheological property of this kind of multiphase system was developedinthis paper. .For the first time, it is to finded that this non-Newtonian fluid have thixotropic character. After the thixotropy nature determine examination, the thixotropic mechanism of cell network structure model was set up ,then the synergistic effect of thixotropy and temperature was studied. Based on these we the confirm the constitutive equation by pseudo plasticity of fermenting liquor.2 Following the forment process, the disciplinary movement of the rheological parameters including apparent viscosity, consistency coefficient and flow behavior index was obtained. Further,it was discussed that how the cell growth ,substrate depletion and metabolic product effect the rheological behaviour.3 Compared with different parameters such as nuclear content, sugar content and pigment content, rheological parameters was the most suitable method to characterize the cell growth in this forment system. The result shows that lag phase is Oh to 20h , exponential phase 20h to 65h , stationary phaseand 65h to 90h and decline phase 90h to 120h. Based on it, the batch culture growth mathematical model was builded.4 The Oxygen dissolution was analysed by Sechenov empirical model. The restrictive factor of oxygen transfer and their primary and secondary effect were found by factorial experiment.5 The effects of two kind of oxygen carrier were investigated by different adding method,in different adding time and oxygen restrictive conditions. Using statistical theory and experimental data, the fitting potency response surfaces were described . The result shows that the optimal operating points, volume faction and additive time, are bean oil: (0.120, 54.9h) and cetane: (0.123, 61.6h). After the repeated experiment of this point, both of the experimental group potencies wereincreased upwards of 20% than control group.
