Combing the preparation methods and technologies of iron oxide desulfurizer and zinc oxide desulfurizer, the components of TX type desulfurizer is determined by screen experiments. The standard of screen is the sulfur absorbability .Also the properties of desulfurization and regeneration are tested.This research defines how to prepare the activated iron oxide. First, join 250mL Fe(NC>3)3 solution into 750mL NaOH solution, meanwhile stirring for 10 minutes. Both the content of solutions is ImoL/L. Second, filtrate the mixture under vacuum after 16 hours, then stove it at 50 癈.The composition of TX type desulfurizer is such as below:Fe2O3 75%, ZnO 15%,the additive 10%.And the optimum temperature of roast is 350℃.Under the test condition of normal temperature, the content of inlet hbS 10mg/m3, water content 15% and the velocity of cross section 3000h~l, the sulfur absorbability of TX type desulfurizer is more than ll%(wt%). If the velocity of cross section is lower and the gas is saturated by water, the sulfur absorbability maybe still be increased greatly. More experimental work need to do to proof this conclusion.The TX type desulfurizer can be regenerated for many times. After regenerated third times ,the total sulfur absorbability comes up to 31.89%.
