Exploration of the structure and its change rules in liquid alloys has attracted considerable interest in recent years, and has become one of the most active areas in condensed matter physics and materials research. In this thesis, three kinds of alloy systems, GaBi, PbSn and InSn, are selected as examples to study liquid structure and its change rules in liquid alloys. The thesis consists of six chapters. Chapter one is an introduction, which briefly presents the significance and development of investigating the liquid structure and properties in metals and alloys. In the end of this chapter, the main research contents are introduced.Chapter two concerns three experiment technique, internal friction technique, thermal analysis technique and X-ray diffraction technique. In chapter three, we introduce the liquid structure and properties of GaBi alloys. Additionally, the applicability to investigating liquid structure and properties for alloys is precisely verified by means of internal friction method.Chapter four mainly gives the results of liquid structure and structure change in PbSn alloys with the combination of the internal friction technique and differential thermal analysis. The structure change is presumed in liquid PbSn alloys, and depends on the heating rate, thermal history and components and so on.In chapter five, We investigate the liquid structure of InSn alloys by means of internal friction and X-ray diffraction methods. The discontinuous structure transition occurs during continuous heating in InSn alloy.Chapter six presents a summary of this thesis.
