On the base of the previous study of Cu-based shape memory alloy ,changing the heat-treating regime and deformation ,the influence of heat-treatment on the properties of Cu-10 Al-6 Mn-4 Zn-0.3 Zr (wt %) is studied by metallgraphical observation and TEM analysis ,the results show:The transformation temperature( Ms) and transformation hysteresis (A*-M*) are influenced by heat-treating regime. There is a liner relation between Ms and theaverage grain diameter d-1/2 .The ability of plastic deformation has connectionswith the quantity and the shape of a phase precipitated during solution treatment. In addition, the shape memory effect also has connection with the heat-treating regime and the deformation, so the two (heat-treatment and deformation) factors should be considered at the same time and the alloy can acquire good composite properties.
