FRP acoustic transmission high pressure vessels are studied systemically based on the military item cooperated by Beijing FRP Research and Design Institute and China Ship 715 Institute.According to the analysis and investigation of the relative factors which have great effects on the FRP acoustic transmission and the numeric experiments, the modified UP resin is selected optimistically as the matrix material, and the non-alkali mat, glass cloth and woven rovings as reinforcements. In the light of the manufacture example, the structure is designed and the process for the liner and structure is optimized to choose the hand-lay for the former and winding for the latter. Furthermore, the quality control for FRP acoustic transmission is discussed which is significant for the practice.FRP is successfully applied in acoustic transmission vessel on the base of the study in the paper, which is a bridge to spread the FRP application in acoustic transmission with the combination of structure design, process research and theory. Therefore, acoustic transmission equipment can be used widely in defence, military and resource exploitation which means the further significance for the society.
