This paper aims at the problem that talc disperses difficultly in the processing of PP/talc nanocomposites. Based on the principle of molecule design and fill modification. We adopt a kind of macromolecule coupling agent and proper prepare process to improve the compatibility of pp and talc. The results show that the adoption of macromolecule coupling agent and proper technics can solve the problem of dispersion difficulty in PP/talc.In this paper the formula, the technics, the dosage of the filler and the macromolecule coupling agent are studied which influence the technics condition, mechanical properties, structure configuration. Also X-ray large angle diffraction, scan electron microscope, DTA etc are used to analysis and test the properties of the PP/talc composites. Conclusions as follows:1. The filling of talc, although prolonging the melting time of PP, can decrease the melting energy consumption and vails the process of PP. The filling of coupling agent, prolonging the melting time of PP, can decrease the melting energy consumption slightly, and has no disadvantage to the process of PP. And temperature is also an important factor .With the improve of temperature ,TTQ decreases and energy consumption decreases, while in the same time, the power of the machine increases, so we should choose lower temperature(170) to lessen the energy consumption. The improve of rev also lessen TTQ, lessening the energy consumption, while in the same time, increase the energy consumption of the machine, so we should choose proper rev to lessen the energy consumption.2. With the content of talc, the tensile strength of the composite improves first and then decreases, with a most value in the 20% of the talc. Considering the cost and properties of the composite, the proper filling content of talc is 30-40%. The mechanic properties of the composite treated with coupling agent is better than that of the composite untreated. The coupling effect of the blend coupling agent is better than that of the only coupling agent. With the increase of coupling agent, the tensile strength of the composite increases first and then decreases, with a most value in the 1% coupling agent.3. SEM was used to analyze the inner structure of the composite. Results show that composite effect tough fracture more easily with the disperse of talc treated with coupling agent. The X-ray diffract was used to analyze the crystal structure of the composite. Results show that after the talc was treated with blend coupling agent, the crystal structure of talc changed, and effect Intercalation phenomenon. So PP/talc composite is nanocomposite. With the filling of talc, the meting point decreased, while with the using of macro coupling agent, the melting point increased.
