In this dissertation, the researching progress of oxidative reaction of phenols are illustrated systematically, which being emphasized on the mechanism and kinetics catalyzed by the oxidoreductive enzyme, photochemical or electrochemical methods and metal complexes. It is the basis of further studying the oxidative reaction of phenols by metallomicelles. At the same tune, the importance of oxidoreductive reaction between hydrogen peroxide and ascorbic acid is illuminated. In CTAB micellar solution, the reaction between hydrogen peroxide and hydroquinone is investigated by using ultraviolet spectrophotometric method. The catalytic action of CTAB micelle is interpreted by applying the pseudo-phase model. The catalytic effects of metal cations[Fe( II), Fe(III), Cu(II), Mn(II), Co( II)] is investigated systematically in aqueous and micellar solution respectively, and the catalytic activities of metal cations are compared. The free group mechanism of reaction is interpreted by the basic kinetic theories, and the general properties of metal cations are concluded. Two cupric complexes are prepared and characterized. The mechanism and kinetics of reaction between hydrogen peroxide and hydroquinone catalyzed by them are investigated comparatively in aqueous and micellar solution respectively using the ternary complex kinetic model. The results show thatthis model can be applied in the oxidoreductive reaction. In the base of thermokinetic theories and methods, the reaction between hydrogen peroxide and ascorbic acid is investigated by calorimetric method in the aqueous solution. The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters are observed, the mechanism and kinetics of this reaction are analyzed. The effects of single micelle of surfactant on the hydride transfer reaction between leuco methylene blue and 2,5-dihydroxyl-l,4-benzoquinone were investigated using a spectra method. The results are discussed by comparing the different effects of micelles on this reaction, which show that the micelle can be applied on the hydride transfer reaction as an effective reaction medium.
