Studies On The Syntheses And Their Complexing Abilities Of Troponeattached Azacrown Ethers

In this paper we prepared a series of azacrown ethers with side chains of tropone rings and their derivatives by the reactivity of seven-membered aromatic tropone rings. Because the donor atoms of the side chains can also complex the cations, the complexing abilities of azacrown ethers for cations are enhanced. We proved this by UV spectra throuth complexation experiments, and found also some target compounds with dramatically good complexing abilities for cations.
