The molding and application properties of two kinds of highly lubricating polyoxymethylene (POM) materials, which were filled with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Silicone oil and with PTFE, Pumbum powder, were studied systematically and overall in the article. The effects of the varieties (classes) and contents of POM, PTFE, Silicone oil, Pumbum powder on the mechanical properties, antifriction behavior, heat stability and rheologic behavior of the blends and composites were studied. The lubricating mechanism of the two kinds was discussed.The result showed:when middle viscosity's POM was used as raw materials,PTFE and Silicone oil as lubricating agents,and then they were mixed at high speed and melt by two screw extruders that the lubricating agents were dispersed homogeneously in the matrix and the prepared blends had a dispersed size of PTFE less than 15um;The blends of POM/PTFE/Silicone oil had good molding and friction property and synergism between PTFE and silicone oil in friction property;The composites of POM/PTFE/Pumbum powder had excellent heat stability in which the Pumbum powder was treated with self-prepared coupling agents,and the friction property and the compressive strength were greatly improved with the increase of the contents of the Pumbum powder. On the basis, the prepared blends and composites were applied to domestic apparatus and vehicle's lubricating parts successfully. The new lubricating POM materials developed have high ratio of property /cost.
