Study And Practice On The Coal Mining Technology Of The Rooms & Pillars Mining Mechanization Operated With Continuous Miners

Based on the practical geological conditions in Shenfu & Dongsheng Mine District,a systematical study around the rooms & pillars operated with continuous miners has been detailed from the basic principles,coal mining technology and means,key installations for pillar mining.On the theory of "beam",the basic structure,parameters and formula for rooms & pillars have been educed. By experiment with the similar materials,it gives the results the pillar left in mine site that will effect to the underseam mining,and also,the analogy engineering and field observation are applied to define proper bolting parameters in retreating gateway.After technique argumentation and economic comparison,it first brings forward two types of coal mining mechanizations in pillar mining:continuous miner operated with MRS (Mobile Roof Support);continuous miner,continuous conveying system with MRS,meanwhile,giving out face arrangement,mining technology,equipments and other concerning parameters in mining mechanization of rooms & pillars.According to the standpoint that the shield,pillar and strata have a common loading onto roof pressure,it results in the calculations and formula to the working pressure upon MRS. Especially,for the first time,it displays the basis,technical parameters,construction pattern and characteristics in independently developing by Shendong Coal Co. the first set of XZ7000/24/45 MRS and the first LY1500/865-10 continuous conveying system in the country. The applications of the two equipments in mine underground are being made as well.It comes to the conclusion that the above ways apply either for the sole Shendong mine district,or for numbers of mines in the country. However,the above technology has an advantage in increasing coal recovery,and keeps on the development of the coal industry.
