In this study, tar wastewater was as the object mainly discussed how to treat, and was treated by using TiO2 light catalyze oxidation & Fenton reagent catalyze oxidation treatment, the process and mechanism of reaction was searched also. The results showed that the effect that light catalyze oxidation treated tar wastewater was related to the kinds of catalyze, and the result of experiment using TiO2 was better than rutile. Catalyze capability was improved obviously after TiO2 was calcined at 550℃, and the way of calcine had large actions for catalysis.Photo catalytic degradation of organic compound in tar wastwater was carried out with Fenton reagent(H2O2+Fe{2+}),the following conclusion can be attained: when good condition, the system's photo catalytic activity was enhanced, but when adding to TiO2,the photo degradation efficiency decreased. Therefore, in the following experiments, Using Fenton reagent(H2O2+Fe{2+}) composite semiconductor to treat tar wastwater, the influence of pH value, initial tetracycline concentration, light intensity, irradiated time, the proportion Of Fe2++ TiO2,the volume Of Solution was respectively discussed.Under the Selected conditions, almost more than up 80% of tar wastewater was completely decomposed to CO2and H2O。Finally, All these results would be helpful to further Study on the photo catalytic treatment of wastewater for tar industry and other organic wastewater.
