On the base of explaining that methane in coalbed exists mainly in two states:absorbed states and free states,the method of computing gas capacity of coalbed has been given,the influence on permeability of coal from stress,absorption and gas pressure analysed,and Pick law and Darcy law concerning gas flow introduced. In order to study the law of roof fissure distribution under the influence of mining,similar model experiment has elaborately been designed,the amount of various material has accurately been calculated. Fissure production and distribution law have seriously been observed,detailed record has been taken of various observing data,and regression analysis made to obtained data. Rising and float of gas in fissure zone and the condition on which it happens have been pointed out,mechanic analysis has been made to rising and float of methane,the phenomenon that gas spreads in fracture zone,and feature of movement and assembly of methane in fracture zone has been pointed out,the summary of Weijiadi coal mine has briefly been introduced. The basic parameter of coalbed in the coal mine has been given,the suitable method of drawing methane has been provided. Underground and ground transfer system of gas,pipeline layout and underground gob distribution have briefly been introduced. In the end,social and economic benefit of together mining of coal and gas has been expounded.
