Our nation is a agricutural country, there are about 7 billion tons straws in recent years each. In order to properly use these resources .the government pour heavyly money to deal with this problem and have constructed many biomass gasification station in rural areas. But most of these station unprofitable because of narrow appling fields: to offer daily used energy only, not be used in factory or other production fields. At the same time,, there are curing problems in countryside. Most of the cccuring are out of date, and the farmers have poor technics to cure high quality tobacco, which leads to the high energy consumption, heavy enviromental polution, and-unprofitable curing. In order to cope with these two problems, we bring forth the object "BTC-1", which is the agronomy of" Biomass Tobacco Curing Type One".Confronted with so many vexing problems, we are a little frustrated. But it has a good method to deal with it. Based on the matured technology and methods, we confidently bring the object in light. That is to say we will use biamss gasification technology to provide the energy needed in tobacco curing, which is easy to be controlled in hetit providing and also is the important factor in curing . If this object can be carried out properly, it will bring us much good in enviroment protection and the mprdenfication of the rural areas. Also it will help the spread of rural energy technology such as gasification , which will in return help the enviromental protection and the mordenfication of the rurals.Through exeperiments we successfully invent BTC-1, which is made up of three sub-system: gasification system, transportation system, and the real curing system. And the curing system includs such factors as the burner, the wet-wall purier and the controll system. We partly improve the gasification boiler, and firstly bring forth the direct heat providing method.The burner can start and stop automatically incording to the ideal curing temperature curve in the whole process, and its difference is lower than one degree up or down. The wet-wall type purer can effectively purify the fuel to the stands required by the curing enviroment, and recircle the flue into the .curing,which improve the efficiency of the system. The directly providing heat curing method greatly improve the system efficiency, which can be high as 72.4% in total. On whole, the system is good enough, it has precise temperature and humidity control ablilitily, the higheat temperature difference is below 3 degree, which made it possible to cure many kinds of tobacco. It can improve the tobacco quality by two or three grade, and this made it possible to have a protitability in curing, it can get 21% profit by scale curing.In words, the BTC-1 is manifested a success. It is mature in technics, and can spread easily. It caters the farmers, the biomass-gas-station, and won the high praises of the tobacco companies. This object is catering with the national policy and the . objects of the rural energy in our country, which emphasises much in the harmony of the rural energy, the rural enviormental protection , the rural economy development and the moderfication of rurals.
