Refine method for the product of etha.nol dehydrogenatiori to ethyl acetate was studied Because ethyl acetate,ethanol,butanone and water formed binary and triple azeotrope whose boiling point are very close. It is very difficult to refine them,by common distillation. Comparing with other refine method,the extractive distillation is mentioned. Proper extractants were selected by computer. Some of vapor-liquid equilibrium was calculated by UNIFAC. And some were determined and correlated. Proper product refine process was selected. Technical process was simulated using new relaxation method by computer. Proper process operation parameters were obtained. And process was designed for industry,on this base,A 3000t/y ethyl acetate plant was built in which the quantity of product achieved and exceed the design value. This process has been industrialized successful. Meanwhile it is proved that with trusty chemical thermodynamics and phase equilibrium data,distillation process can be simulated by computer with suitable calculation model,and developed for industrialization. Compared with conventional development mode,industrialized period of process can be significantly shorter and more cost-effective.
