The dissertation analyses foreign and domestic computer numerical control (CNC) research and production and the current, then to dissolve the precision test and error analysis, which is a common problem in production and adjustment, introduce the search important and necessary. Some research has been developed in national "Eighth Five-year Plan" and CNC test system has been made. The dissertation states the construct and principle of the hardware and software of the CNC test system. According to its shortcoming, such as low test speed, synthesis test capacity and antijamming ability, improvement scheme is put forward. On the base, the development of the national "Ninth Five-year Plan" task" CNC system function state synthesis test technology" is dwelled on, and the CNC system function state test instrument has been developed .In the need of production and practice, it can be added to photo scale to test CNC machine tool. The paper also introduces the overall design of the hardware and software and some problems counted during the research. At the same time, it elaborates the data processing principle and approach based on the least square method and neural networks theory. According to these, it mainly analyses the precision test software such as interpolation line, interpolation circle and numerical control track dynamic and static state display. Using the instrument to test much system and research, the result is satisfied.
