Research On The Technological Process Of The Crystal Magnesium Chloride Preparation

As a new product , crystal magnesium chloride is widely used in food additive, pharmaceutical, artifical seawater and new materials etc, because of it's high purity, excellent water-solubility.According to the results of test, the technologic process of crystal magnesium chloride preparation from the mother liguor resulting from the bromine manufacture is discussed in this papers. It is mainly made up of pretreatment, evaporation and crystallization in the method, which has been proved to be a practical and economical technological technique. It is also fit for industrialized production and will have a good market.Research on the crystallization process of magnesium chloride is very important in this experimental research. Based on the results of the original experiments, we had scaled it up and also got the high purity products. Furthermore, the main technical parameters of the process and operation are given, which can be applied to the designing and controlling for further industrial researches.
