Cement-based Composites is one of important ways to get to high performance, and it will become one of main materials in the 21 st century. Fiber reinforcement is the center. So it's very important to choice suitable fiber and understand reinforced rules and reinforced technology.This thesis is based on polyvinyl alcohol fibers (vinylon) reinforced mortar. Firstly, the workability of fiber-reinforced mortar is studied. The properties of crack resistance with fibers are studied. Direct tension test which is sensitively to crack is especially discussed. Several physical-mechanics properties are also studied. Finally, the reinforcement is studied in different treating technology and different modulus.The results show that the additions of fibers influence the workability of mortar. The crack resistance of mortar is largely improved with fibers, and the affectation still exists in high or chill temperature. The direct tension strength is efficiently improved by fiber in certain content. The flexural strength is largely improved, though the compressive strength is reduced. At the same time, the properties of impact resistance are also improved.Fiber is dipped in water and agitated in advance. Mixing fibers and cement together to mill for a while can improve the surface properties of fibers, and this can improve the uniformity and reinforced effect in great large. Vinylon reinforced effect isn't worse than PP fibers. So vinylon fibers are one of excellent reinforced fibers. Vinylon fibers reinforced are a great development for Cement-based Composite Materials.
