A study is done in this work on the progress conditions of potassium chloride and ammonium sulfate reacting in organic solvents% the isothermal phase graphs of the reacting system.- Ten organic solvents are experimented and methanol of them is selected out as the best solvent; The phase graphs are studied and protracted on the conditions which are the temperature(25癈) and methanol concentration(50%) of the reacting system K+-, NH4+//Cl-,SO42-.which is theoretical basis to the solvent progress; The factors which impact on the receiving ratio of potassium oxide are determined in the reacting by single-factor experiments. The proper conditions of this producing process are confirmed by the orthogonal experiments: the reacting time 80min,methanol concentration:50%,the initiatory concentration of ammonium sulfate 20%,the reacting materials confecting ratio: 1.96, the reacting temperature 25癈 ; Methanol is recycled by distillation in two sector and is reused. The quality of potassium sulfate reaches to the first rank in agricultural potassium sulfate and the quality of ammonium chloride reaches to eligible in industrial ammonium chloride.
