The Study Of The Synthesis Of Three Homologues Of Cinnamic Acid

In this paper , a catalytic synthesis ofCinnaraic acid and its ramification--CaffeicAcid(CA) , FerulicAcid(FA) from Malonic acid and (substitutional) phenyl-methyl-aldehyde by method of Knoevenagel桪oebnor was studied.The best catalyst and the optimum parameters are chosen by investigating the influence of reaction conditions . It provides moderate reaction conditions, short reaction time and simple purification step.
