The spent desulfurizer used in the natural gas has been analyzed by GC-MS, and measured with the method of the measurement of volatile organic sulfur, the quality of water also has been measured. The surfuride from the spent desulfurizer are existed with the main forms of desulfide, trisulfide.no other forms basically. It is possible theoretically to remove the organic sulfuride from the sample of the spent desulfurizers used by three methods (1)aether extraction (2)hot-air desiccation(3)stream extraction. Some experiment of methods are made. After being removed the organic sulfur, the samples are treated with the method of toluene-heated extraction. The result of experimentation that treated by the assembled methods is the rates of removing organic sulfur from the spent desulfurizer are above 20% and the total rates are above 90%, the rate of eather extraction is about 93%. The experiment shows that the efficiency of the assembled method are very high used in removing organic sulfur.The spent desulfurizer used in removing H2S from the gas has also beenanalyzed by GC-MS, the result shows that the organic compounds of thesample are made of some impurity such as benzene , toluene and tar, thequality of the organic sulfur are very small. The quality of water alsohas been measured, three methods (1)aether extraction (2)hot-air-desiccation(3)stream extraction are also been used to remove theimpurity , the total rate of removing are above 95%.Because of the important effect of water in the process of desulfurization , it can renew the spent desulfurizer partly after addingwater to it.The analysis of character of solubility that element sulfur can be soluble in toluene , CCl2=CCl2 has been arrived, the analysis of allotropes of element sulfur of structure has also been arrived, the mechanism of the solubility has been tried to explain. S is more easily soluble than Sain organic solvent , the assumption that S can produce a free-radical reactive intermediate are also mentioned .
