This paper studied the technology process of making activated Fly Ash Floating Beads activated by H2SO4 and the adsorption mechanism of organic substance and inorganic ions ; Through the static adsorption experiment of COD in wastewater on activated Fly Ash Floating Beads, the main influential factors that affected adsorption property (activated temperature ?amounts of Fly Ash Floating Beads > adsorption time ^ PH and the concentration of solute) were analyzed ; The adsorption property of Fly Ash Floating Beads was compared which activated by H2SO4 and ZnCl2; And the experiment studied the adsorption capacity of COD and the adsorption efficiency of metal ions and its regeneration; The results showed that the adsorption efficiency of activated Fly Ash Floating Beads for COD and inorganic ions was obvious and it had some selection ; Activated temperature, amounts of Fly Ash Floating Beads, adsorption time were the critical factors, but they were not relative to the adsorption property. When the acidity of wastewater was neutral and the concentration of solute was thick, the adsorptionproperty of Fly Ash Floating Beads was fine; The regenerated Fly Ash Floating Beads had good adsorption property, the technology process of regeneration was simple and the price was low.
