| A design approach to the 3D CAD of welded machine is presented in this thesis, in which the rules of bar orientation, joint processing and welding sequence are stressed. The method is adept to the welded machine which is consist of multiple kinds of steels and the steels are angled with any condition. The design process of the proposed method is described as follows: the user inputs the 3D sketch of a welded machine, and the geometry and topology information of the members in the welded machine are established automatically. The design information is acquired by the means of man-computer interaction. According to the knowledge of design and welding, the rules of bar orientation, joint processing and welding sequence are established. At last a computer model of the welded machine appears in CAD. And a software prototype system of intelligent design for the welded machine is developed by ObjectARX2000. |
