In this paper, the digram of manufacturing cellulose sponge is designed as follows: the acid hydrolyzed cellulose is desolved by NaOH solution to make cellulose solution;secondly strengthen fiber and pore-forming agent etc are added into cellulose solution to form the dough;and then the dough is properly treated to make cellulose sponge.the affecting factors of every process of manufacture are studied and also the technologies are optimized. The first part of the paper, the cellulose is pretreated through acid-hydrolysis and the effects of time, temperature and acid concentration of acid hydrolysis on the fiber DP are studied. The results indicate that the cellulose DP obviously decreases under the treating conditions of acid concentration above 0.285mol/L, temperature above 60 C and time within 4 mins.In the second part of the paper, the effects of concentration and temperature of NaOH solution, fiber dosage, cellulose DP and ZnO dosage on the viscosity of cellulose solution are discussed in detail. The optimum conditions are as follows: concentration of NaOH solution 10%, temperature C, DP of wood fiber378,fiber dosage 6% and ZnO dosage 5% .The optimum technology is obtained through the studies of the effects affecting factors on the cellulose sponge properties, the optimum conditions are as follows: cellulose DP 378, total fiber dosage 6% of the solution mass and cotton fiber 42.8% of the total fiber dosage, pore-forming agent dosage 30 times of that of the fiber mass and the de-bonding agent dosage 6.7%. Under the optimum conditions the water absotption is 6.41 times, the sketch strength is 2.06Mpa. The cellulose sponge has excellent elastic properties and softness . And also, the cellulose sponge has good biocidal properties...
