The thesis consists of four parts as follows: Part I: ReviewIt look back to the development of the chiral synthesis, asymmetric catalyze, the synthesis and application of polymer supported chiral. The summaries on the typical supported chiral polymer methods as well as the application of polymer supported chiral catalyst in the asymmetric catalytic fields were given in this part. The main application of these chiral catalysts in much chemical processes was emphasized, too. As a kind of newly catalysts, their prospect and the problems they faced were also discussed in this part. Part II: The synthesis and the characterizing of the chiral polymer and complexesThe part consists of two subsections. The chiral polymer was synthesized by the chiral monomer (quinine or BQTP) copolymerization with another monomer (AN,MA,MMA)PAMAM. And the reaction between chiral polymer and metal ions such as Co2+, Pd2+ for the coordination, the four chiral polymer complexes were then obtained. Their structures were characterized by means of FT-IR, UV, TG/DTA, ICP. It was confirmed that the complexes have been prepared through the chemical reactions; The chiral salen polymer and complex was obtained by the reaction between the PSCt^Cl and DPEDA. And then their structures were characterized by means of FT-IR, ICP. It was confirmed that the complexes have been prepared through the chemical reactions. Part III: The catalytic properties of the BQTP copolymer in the AD reaction. The copolymers were first used as catalysts for the dihydroxylation of olefins. Their catalytic properties for the AD processes were investigated. The comparison of the products e.e., the conversion of the substrate among different AD processes was employed with determined by HPLC. The effects of the time, the temperature, the ratio of catalyst to substrate as well as the recycle times were also discussed. The results of the dihydroxylation of olefins show that the copolymers of BQTP exhibit promising catalytic properties for the substrate.Part IV: The catalytic properties of the PMA-QN complex in the reactionof ketone reduction. The complex of PMA-QN-Pd2+ were first used as catalysts for the reduction of ketones. Their catalytic properties for the reduction processes were investigated. The comparison of the products e.e., the conversion of the substrate among different reduction processes was employed with determined by HPLC and GC. The effects of the time, the temperature, the ratio of catalyst to substrate, reaction solvent as well as the recycle times were also discussed. The results of the reduction of ketones show that the complex of PMA-QN exhibit promising catalytic properties for the substrate.
