The fiber of natural colored cotton is a main kind of ecological fiber. It has a natural and cultured color and a soft quality. It is full of flexibility, so it can give you a comfort feel. Because the fiber has a natural color, the fiber need not traditional dyeing, so that there is not any chemical toxin left in the fabric and the pollution in the dyeing can be avoided.But as a kind of farm crop, the colored cotton it would absorb some harmful heavy metals from the air, water, soil in the growth process. Because of the existence of harmful heavy metals, the fabric of the colored cotton can not arrive at the request of Oko-Tex Standard 100. In addition, as a natural colored cotton, this fiber mainly has two kind of color, green and brown. But its color is not steady. It will change with the PH, temperature, oxidant, reducer, metal ion, especially the green colored cotton. This makes the fastness of cotton fiber can't attain the national standard under the alkaline soap and the acidity sweat wash.In this paper, the complexation method was used to wipe off the heavy metals whose contents exceed the standard. The best craft is chosen byexperiments to lead production. The influence of different conditions on thecolor of colored cotton is studied in this paper. The rule of the color change is drawn, that the color of green cotton will turn to red and blue under the acidity condition and turn to green and blue under the alkaline condition. The color of brown cotton will turn to yellow and green under the acidity condition and turn to yellow and red under the alkaline condition. Moreover, some experiments had been done to test the metals salt method for fixing the color of colored cotton written by Yu Boling. Some shortcomings were pointed out, and some new method of fixation had been brought up.
