In this paper, the system of the pulsed laser deposition was designed, which included the vacuum system ,the laser focus system ,the automatic substrate heating and temperature controlling system , the charging gas system and the spring target rotation system. And with this system the film of perovskite-like structure was deposited successfully. At the same time in order to make research on the GMR of the magnetic granular system, the Single Roller Melt Spinning equipment was designed and manufactured. The ingots used to produce melt spun ribbons were obtained by melting pure Co, pure Cu and pure Fe powders in the high frequency induction furnace. The samples were prepared by the self-manufactured Single Roller Melt Spinning equipment. The microstructure of as-quenched Co10Cu90 and Fe10Cu90 ribbons was investigated by means of X-ray diffraction ,scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS),and the investigations showed that Co-rich and Fe-rich existed in the ribbons. The isochronal annealing was carried out at 375℃ ,400℃ ,425℃ and 450℃ for 30 min and the room temperature magnetoresistance of the specimens after annealing was measured up to 120mT by a conventional D.C.four point probe method. For Co10Cu90 alloy sample measured at room temperture (AB=10mT), the condition of the maximum GMR was annealing at 425℃ for 30 min.In the Fe composition range (0-0.20), the maximum GMR about 0.94% was observed at room temperature in Fe15Cu85 alloy ribbons annealed at 400℃for 30 min (A B=110 mT).
