Concurrent Engineering is one new kind of design theory and developing technology of product development. In the theory of the Concurrent Engineering, Design for Assembly is one of the important tools. A new Design for Assembly System is founded in Pro/E, the Assembly Model Analyzing Module and the Designing for Assembly Tolerance Module are the main contents of the Design for Assembly System. Based on the Hierarchy Model and Relation Model, a new Hierarchy Relation Net Work Model is established in thesis. Several complementary computing dimension chain formulas of Extremum Method and Probability Method are deduced. The application methods of Pro/Toolkit are dissertated in the thesis. At last, with the strategy of 'theory discussion +prototype research +application verification', the example validations of the Assembly Analyzing Model and Tolerance Design are given in the thesis.
