In this paper, author studied the growth and phosphorus removal capability of Chlamydomonas sajao lewin^ Chlorella vulgaris^ Selenastrum minutum and Scenedesmus obliquus under high phosphorus concentrations.The results show that ability to remove phosphorus is influenced by the mass of algae and the quantity of removing phosphorus a cell. The phosphorus removal capability becomes very good, when having a great mass of algae and a great quantity of removing phosphorus a cell. Chlamydomonas sajao lewin is very good in removing phosphorus.When studying the influence of high phosphorus concentration on Alkalescence Phosphorus in Chlamydomonas sajao lewin and Scenedesmus obliquus, the results show that the quantity of removing phosphorus is influenced by the quantity of Alkalescence Phosphorus.
