It has always been one of the goals of reservoir engineers to realize simulation, routinization, automation and scientificity of oil field development planning study. By combining the dynamic system identification technology and the theory of optimal control with the oil field exploitation practice, this paper has created an oil field development planning optimal control model, which aims to fulfill the requirement of the state to oil production output while considering to coordinate production boost and oil recovery enhancement. Compared with conventional oil field development planning model, this model has taken more advantage of physical knowledge and considered the effect of injector/producer measurement in a more integral way. The consideration of water influx, which is the major input parameter of the system, has reflected the model's practicality. The solution of this model has adopted the mature Pontriagin maximum theory and variational method is used to solute the functional extremum. In real solution process, artful combination of gradient method and ratifing scale variational method has accelerated the convergence rate and improved the calculation accuracy. To prove the practicality of this model, it has been applied in the long term planning to the year of 2015 in Lamadian Oilfield. The practice has proved that the model is innovative and can be universally used.
